The Business Club has 3 wings each with its own Head and Governors to ensure co-ordination and smooth functioning of the club. Initially, through the knowledge meetings, the new members are exposed to all 3 dimensions of the club wherein they choose their area of interest: Finance, Strategy or Analytics.
They then specialize in this field and take knowledge meetings for the rest of the club. They are also encouraged to apply their learnings through participation in various competitions. The Club works as a synergic entity, with the older members presenting and teaching various topics to the newer ones.
Subsequently each year, the previous group hands over the baton to their mentees, who then become the mentors for the incoming generation. This cycle of learning and teaching is the inspiration and provides the driving force to propel us to heights hitherto unknown.
Our vision of teaching and learning isn’t just restricted to within the Club. Open house sessions are often conducted for students of the Institute. We also try to do our bit and give back to society by organising and executing benefit initiatives for people in the immediate vicinity of the institute campus. Apart from all of this, Business Club organises annual competitions like the ICC which familiarise students to business problems they are going to tackle in the real world, because we believe your skills are only as useful as your applications.
The Indian Case Challenge (ICC) is among the largest case study competition In India.
Our alumni are very proactive with the Club - interacting with the present members regularly and dropping by to visit their younger torch-bearers whilst also providing encouragement, support and a knowledge base to expand the club further.
