About ICC

The Indian Case Challenge is a national level case study competition, one of India’s largest in terms of the participation it sees and the prize money at stake. The competition is organised by Business Club, IIT Kharagpur.The 2018 edition will be conducted in association with Kshitij, the annual techno-management fest of IIT Kharagpur.

It challenges the best Undergraduate and Graduate students from all over India to compete against each other and prove their business and entrepreneurial mettle in a real life business case scenario. Not only are the participants expected to have strong business skills and financial understanding, but also a feeling for entrepreneurship and a sense for realising market opportunities!

ICC gives you a platform for making business contacts by bringing future leaders and business masters together. The organisational team puts in great efforts to combine this competitive event with an atmosphere of knowledge exchange and friendship!


The event will be conducted in two stages

  • Stage 1

    • •The pre- case will be sent to the participating teams once they register on the portal.
    • •Registrations will be open till 9th January 2017, 11:59 p.m IST.
    • •The final deadline for the preliminary case submissions is 10th January 11:59 p.m IST.

  • The list of short-listed teams will be released which shall then move to Stage 2.

  • Stage 2

    • •All the shortlisted teams will be given the final case on campus and will be given 2 days to solve it.
    • •The final participants will be required to present their solutions at the end of two days.
    • •A Biz-Quiz will also be hosted and will be open to all participants.


  • •Online registration is mandatory for participation.
  • •Each team can have 3 to 5 members. Students from different colleges can be in the same team.
  • •First round solution report must be submitted in form of powerpoint presentation file (max 10-15 slides) to submission@bclub.co.in with 'ICC Round 1 Submission' as the subject.
  • •Teams must mention the names of the members, their respective colleges and contact details on the first page of the report.
  • •The whole analysis must be done by the teams themselves. Plagiarism will attract cancellation of participation.
  • •The final round will be conducted in IIT Kharagpur during GES 2017.
  • •The decision of the judges will be final and binding.

  • •Pre-case is released. Register to have the case sent to your e-mail address.
  • •Mail your submissions to submission@bclub.co.in.
  • •Last date for sending your submissions 10th January, 2017.
  • •Allowed team size is 3-5 members.
